Andrew County Collection Information

The Recycling Trailer rotates among eight communities on the following schedule:

Residents from each community are encouraged to participate
when the trailer is in their area.

Andrew County Drop-Off Recycling Center:
Located across from the Andrew County Barn at 11th & Davis in Savannah
Open 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Saturday


Country Club Village Curbside Recycling:

Call the Village Office at 816-232-4621 to receive your red recycling bin.
A recycling bin is required to participate.

Recyclables will be picked up on the 1st & 3rd Friday of every month.

Place your properly prepared recyclables in the red recycling bin. Place your bin at the curb by 8 a.m. Remember, dirty or non-recyclable material are trash and should not be placed in the recycling bin.


Savannah Curbside Recycling:

Call City Hall 324-3315 for a recycling bin & collection schedule.


Clinton County Collection Information

Cameron Drop-Off Recycling Center:

Located in Sutherland's Parking Lot
Open 24 hours a day

Cameron Curbside Recycling:

Prepared glass, plastic, and metal cans may be mixed and placed in green recycling bin. Please place newspaper and magazines in brown paper or plastic bags according to the weather, and flatten the cardboard.

Bins require a $3.00 deposit, and are available by calling City Hall at 816-632-2177.


Gower Curbside Recycling:

Your recyclables will be collected at your curb
the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of each month.

Prepared glass, plastic, and metal cans may be mixed and placed in green recycling bin. Please place newspaper and magazines in paper bags. Flatten & tie cardboard, and place next to bin.

Green recycling bins are required to participate. The bins are available at City Hall for a $5.00 deposit. You can place your $5.00 deposit with your name, address, and phone number attached in the drop box at City Hall, and the bin will be delivered to your home. Contact City Hall at 816-424-6617 for more information.


Lathrop Drop-Off Recycling Center:

The recycling center is located behind the Fire Staion.

Plattsburg Curbside Recycling:

Residential recycling is collected from your curb
on the same day as your normal trash collection.

Place all glass, plastic, aluminum & steel cans in the red recycling bin.
Please fold cardboard, then bundle or stack in brown paper bags.
Also, stack newspaper in brown paper bags. Place bags of newspaper and cardboard next to recycle bin by 7:30 a.m. on your trash day.

You must have a red recycling bin to participate.
Contact City Hall at 816-539-2148 and request a recycling bin.
There is a one-time charge of $3.00.


Dekalb County Collection Information


Maysville Drop-Off Recycling Center:

Located at the Water Plant, across from Sunset Nursing Home.
Open 24 hours a day


Stewartsville Curbside Recycling:

Picked up at your curb the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of each month.

Prepared glass, plastic, and metal cans may be mixed and placed in green recycling bin. Please place newspaper and magazines in paper bags. Flatten & tie cardboard, and place next to bin.

Green recycling bins are required to participate. The bins are available at City Hall for a $3.00 deposit. Contact City Hall at 816-669-3278 for more information.
